Do I need to fast?+

Yes — for accurate results, please fast for 8–12 hours before your appointment. You can drink water. We recommend booking morning slots so you can have breakfast right after.

When do I get my results?+

Most results are ready in 3–5 working days. Genetic tests take 2–3 weeks because they're processed in specialised labs. You'll receive results by secure email and review them with your doctor.

Do you bill my insurance directly?+

No — Medcare is a private-pay clinic and we don't bill insurance directly. We provide a detailed invoice you can submit to your private or travel insurance for reimbursement, depending on your policy.

Can I add tests to my package?+

Yes. Any of our specialised add-ons (Hormonal, Sexual Health, Genetic Risk) can be combined with any tier check-up. Just add them when booking — or message us if you want a custom panel.

What if you find something concerning?+

Your doctor will explain it in your follow-up consultation, with context and a clear next-step plan. If imaging or specialist referral is needed, we coordinate directly with the right hospital or clinic in Mallorca.

Is my health data private? (GDPR)+

Absolutely. Medcare is fully GDPR-compliant. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, processed only for your medical care, and never shared with third parties without your explicit consent. Genetic and STD test results are handled with extra confidentiality protocols.
